Actually, I'm simply saying, "Stay posted!" After zealously stalking Pinterest and Instagram, I took the DIY plunge for making a teacher's bullet journal planner. Yes, I have tasted the koolaid and spent a small sum of money on gorgeous Erin Condren planners. Yes, I would graciously accept the donation of a new EC planner (and use it for the short term). Yet I always feel a slight sense of dismay, frustration, regret...it just doesn't magically encompass every aspect of my teaching life. As a high school English teacher who has six preps, participates in a variety of committees, and advises a few groups, I am ready for the epiphany of a sixteen-year career. In the words of the ultimate crooner Frank Sinatra, "I did it my way."
First things first. I had to ponder and fret over the perfect notebook, the just right color (it has to match my classroom!), and the dreaded page count. I settled on the Leuchtturm1917 slim master A4 size journal in LIME (please note the picture is an A5). I nearly had a meltdown trying to find THE size in THE color, but the internet scavenger hunt finally revealed one in - - - Oregon! More specifically, this gem is coming from the University of Oregon's bookstore - - the Duckstore. Go Ducks! So my precious is currently en route. Stay tuned for the unveiling, the creating, and the implementing of this fabulous DIY ultimate planner.
